JOB SUMMARY:

The Proctor in the Testing Center will be responsible for proctoring a number of different types of exams. This position will require an individual who is able to communicate well with students, faculty, and staff and possess exceptional organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check identification before testing and seats examinees for testing.
• Monitors students during test sessions to ensure a secure testing environment.
• Assists in the distribution and collection of test material.
• Reports suspected irregularities to the Testing Coordinator.
• Controls admission to and from the testing room.
• Completes appropriate paperwork for various exams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with previous work experience in teaching, training, counseling, or testing.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include late afternoons and evenings.
• Personal computer proficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience and ability to positively interact with diverse student populations and groups.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
