Job Scope and Responsibilities
Have the experience and the ability to operate a forklift for 8 hours a day, pick material within lifting guidelines, report to work on time and effectively receive feedback from management.
Operate sit down LPG forklifts and stand-up electric lifts.
Utilize Pick Ticket information for order fulfillment.
Ability to use a barcode scanner and other forms of technology
Ensure designated equipment is in proper working condition (forklifts, pickers, crane, hand tools, etc.). Maintain the daily checklist on the picker/forklift
Qualifications:
·Speak and read English. Bilingual Spanish preferred
·1+ years of warehouse experience
·Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables
·High school diploma or GED
·Basic computer skills. Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
·Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills
·Takes initiative and can work independently
·Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
·Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
Safety:
o Utilize all required PPE.
o Follow all company policies regarding CDC recommendations for COVID19.
o Attend daily safety meetings
o Ongoing responsibility to maintain a clear and safe work environment.
