The Takelma Coffee Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Takelma coffee shop, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. The Takelma Shop Manager will also be responsible for inventory management, ordering supplies, and collaborating with the management team to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Hire, train, and supervise team members to ensure excellent guest service and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement store policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and safety
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels to meet customer demand
- Monitor sales and performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability goals
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns to drive guest traffic and increase sales
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and training to team members
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food safety standards
- Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media.
- Performs all other job related duties as requested.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a managerial role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve operational and sales goals.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes.
- Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and industry trends.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Intermediate computer experience in Microsoft Office Programs preferred.
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly and provide alternate solutions in times of problem
- Ability to accurately utilize mathematics and analyze data.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Current and valid Driver's License with the ability to qualify for the UIDC's Drivers Program.
- Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available).
