Preference will be given to applicants who express interest in both the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
Position Purpose: The Social Media Marketing Intern will be a part-time position for current undergraduate students at Sophomore level or higher who have a desire to play a pivotal role in the creation and implementation of a variety of marketing campaigns and tasks. This role will support the social media accounts for EST03, Adsposure, and Advertising Vehicles. Additionally, the intern will be involved in videography and onsite photography shoots for Adsposure and Advertising Vehicles' testimonials and client photos. The Social Media Marketing Intern will learn about the daily marketing team responsibilities for effective social media, and all that supports socials, including blog, webpage, form, and online lead generation management, using our cutting edge Wordpress+Elementor website configurations, and taking our stories to the public, with and assisting our Communications Manager in distribution and planning of online campaigns.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): - Support day to day social media upkeep and management
- Assist the Communications Manager with the content calendar for public communications on blogs and landing pages.
- Develop "stories" and assist with the creation of digital assets that support these - video, photo, social media posts, etc.
- Conduct various small webpage updates on Adsposure.com and advertisingvehicles.com
- Assist with the creation of new webpages
- Support role on video and photoshoots in Greater Cincinnati market
- Video and photo editing for client testimonials, internal and external marketing videos, and training materials
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Marketing or Communications Manager
Supervision Received: - Supervision by Communications Manager and Director of Marketing
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills :
- Confidence with taking and editing high quality pictures and assisting with video and post production
- Real-world experience planning social media programs that span across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of individual work styles.
- Excellent written communication skills (copywriting, editing) with a passion for telling stories.
- Ability to effectively manage time and multi-task with strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a plus; design sensibility is a plus.
Work Requirements: - In-person work at the Blue Ash Headquarters (Cincinnati, Ohio)
- Minimum 16 hours per week
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle to travel to client locations.
- Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.
- Regularly slouching, bending, reaching, grabbing, and sitting for the majority of the day.
- Ability to work independently.
