Position Overview: Marketing Internship (Spring Semester)

We are currently seeking a passionate, self-driven Marketing Intern to join our North America Marketing team for the Spring Semester. This is a part-time, credit-based position (160 hours, non-paid), and applicants must have school approval to participate. In this role, you'll primarily support our Creative and Brand Marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Community Management:
Engage with our audience across all social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) to increase brand awareness and build community.
Connect with relevant bloggers, influencers, and media outlets to share newly published content.
Monitor and address customer service queries and concerns on social media.
Develop strategies for growing our social media audience organically.
Creative Content:
Research and create engaging short- and long-form content.
Refresh and optimize existing blog posts to keep them relevant.
Upload and edit blog content in WordPress.
Source, crop, and upload imagery for blogs and marketing campaigns.
Social Media:
Assist with the creation of social media-first content, including pitching ideas, writing copy, sourcing images, and creating visuals.
Stay informed on current trends and events, identifying opportunities to integrate our brand into real-time conversations.
General Support:
Help with various marketing and PR campaigns as needed, including analyzing travel data.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work part-time (20 hours per week) in the Wethersfield office.
College students (juniors & seniors) and recent graduates pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Strong storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate with a team and also work independently.
A genuine interest in writing and content creation.
Ability to adapt to a brand's tone of voice.
Strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities.
Capability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
A sense of humor, creativity, and curiosity.
Active on social media with a good understanding of what makes content engaging on different platforms.
Passion for travel is a plus.
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Zoho Social, Falcon, Hootsuite, Sprinklr).
Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Understanding of SEO best practices.
Knowledge of Google Analytics, social media metrics, and content performance measurement.
Basic understanding of Photoshop or other design tools.
