We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to support our Account Manager in managing day-to-day customer relationships. This role requires an individual with strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure smooth correspondence and a seamless ordering and shipping process for our customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in our dynamic small-office environment and be dedicated to providing top-tier administrative and logistical support. This position holds quite a bit of growth potential for the candidate to grow into. This is an in-person role located in our office in South San Francisco.

 

Responsibilities

• A passion for the customer with a strong commitment to offering solutions to their problems.
• Extreme attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and desire to take initiative.
• Craft targeted outreach marketing and collaborate with the sales team to source prospective clients.
• Comfortable collaborating with external sales reps and leadership to drive outbound prospecting activities, including warm lead calling, emailing, and communicating our value proposition to decision makers.
• Collaborate with external teams to organize marketing materials and event logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve quality results on time, while working under tight deadlines.

• Proven ability to independently manage time efficiently and prioritize competing stakeholders, functions and tasks.

• Experience implementing systems and processes to increase efficiency.
• Competitive, self-starter who works well within a small team environment.

 

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years' experience in business development at an enterprise company or related role. Ideally direct executive support, project management or event planning experience.

• Experience in sales, business development, or in client success preferred.

• Manufacturing, enterprise account, industrial logistics experience and/or global account experience preferred.

• Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin a major plus.
