We are looking for a kind, compassionate, and enthusiastic Private Caregiver to provide full-time care for a wonderful elderly couple in their 80s, living in Delray Beach, FL. This couple is known for their warmth and kindness, and they are seeking a caregiver who can help maintain a positive, fun, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will not only provide essential daily care but also bring joy and companionship into their lives. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required, and candidates must live locally to ensure reliable availability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Monitor and administer prescribed medications.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Support mobility by helping with exercises, walking, and transfers (wheelchair assistance if applicable).
• Provide light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up the living area.
• Accompany the client to medical appointments and social activities.
• Monitor the client’s health and report any changes to the family or healthcare provider.
• Offer emotional support, companionship, and engage in stimulating activities to promote well-being.
• Ensure a safe living environment by managing safety hazards and offering supervision.

Basic Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of caregiving experience, preferably with elderly clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable mode of transportation.
• Must reside in or near Delray Beach, FL for local access.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility support.
