Physician - Addiction Medicine MD

In this role, you will:

  • Provide appropriate health care and teaching to patients and their families.
  • Provide addiction teaching and consultation to primary care clinicians across LCHC.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Addiction Services in the development of innovative new programs to improve addiction prevention, screening, harm reduction, and treatment.
  • Take care of patients on-site and remotely, on integrated teams with Physicians, PAs, NPs, and BH providers, along with support staff including peer recovery coaches, nurses, medical assistants, community health workers, and more!

The successful applicant will offer:

  • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Experience in community health preferred.
  • Board certification in another primary care specialty (FM/IM) with ongoing primary care practice preferred but not required
  • Massachusetts license for the practice of medicine
  • CPR certification.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
