Description Job Summary: The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team in driving HR initiatives and continuous improvement for the department. The internship is designed to be both educational and practical, offering the intern a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources while contributing to projects that have a direct impact on the well-being and success of our employees and organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Scan HR files for digitization ensuring easy access, efficient storage, and preservation of critical information.
- Create and maintain key workforce metrics, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, including, but not limited to, monthly benefit audits.
- Run and create regular ad hoc reports.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing team-building activities, events, and surveys.
- Develop training content for employees.
- Assist in conducting a request for proposal for potential HR vendors.
- Review and redesign employee collateral documents (onboarding forms, templates, etc.).
- Engage in projects aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.
- Actively contribute to the day-to-day functions, including reviewing the HR inbox, scanning files, entering data, posting requisitions, reviewing resumes, and completing reference checks.
- Screen potential employees' rsums and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
- Post job advertisements to job boards.
- Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.

Work Location: - Primary hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

- Communicate with others verbally, including ability to talk or hear, and understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
