We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Fitness and Sports Marketing Coordinator to join Newtown Athletic Club!

The Fitness and Sports Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our brand, engage with our community, and drive business growth. This position is perfect for someone who is not only passionate about fitness and sports but also eager to contribute to the success of a existing and new business ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote our fitness and sports programs.
  • Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, content marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
Content Creation and Management:
  • Create engaging and compelling content for social media platforms, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
Community Engagement:
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local fitness influencers, community groups, and partners.
  • Plan and execute community events, workshops, and collaborations to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at events and within the community, representing our mission and values.
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve our offerings and customer experience.
Brand Development:
  • Assist in defining and communicating our brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing efforts.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and marketing collateral.
Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that drive membership and program sales.
  • Support lead generation and customer acquisition efforts through targeted marketing initiatives.
*Must be able to work some nights and weekends.

Position Requirements


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the fitness or sports industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for fitness and a desire to inspire others.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and email marketing platforms.
  • Event planning and coordination experience.
