What does your\nrole bring to the table?

The Local Restaurant Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and\nexecuting field marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, guest engagement,\nand sales growth for the seven Snooze restaurants in the Atlanta-metro area.\nThis role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills\nand a person who can embody and translate the Snooze brand into the community. The\nLRM manager will have a deep understanding of the Atlanta market and\nsurrounding communities where Snooze restaurants are located. Leveraging market\nexpertise to inform local marketing strategies and sales-driving opportunities\nthis individual with amplify the brand story and shared message. This role also\nrequires a person who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams\nand external partners, while working independently to reach key milestones. This\nrole reports directly to the Director of Brand Marketing with a high level of\ncollaboration with local operating teams. This role plays a critical role in\nincreasing brand awareness overall.

The Position specifics!

Taking on the role of Local Restaurant Marketing Manager- Atlanta-Metro isn’t\njust about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Market\nAnalysis: Conduct thorough market research to\nidentify key trends, guest segments, competitive activity, community\npartnerships/stakeholders and community events. \nUse these insights to help inform field marketing strategies.
  • Strategic Development/Annual Market Level Planning: Develop annual field marketing\nstrategies and plans that grow brand awareness, drive restaurant traffic and\nbuild incremental sales channels (e.g. catering) for each Atlanta restaurant.\nEnsure plans align with overall corporate marketing objectives, help deliver\nannual operating plans and increase Snooze brand love throughout the Atlanta\nmarket.
  • Field\nMarketing Activation & Project Management: Execute field marketing plans and check and\nadjust plans according to the developing needs of the business. Field marketing\nplans should include a broad set of tactics including but not limited to\ncommunity partnerships/events, local influencers, local\nbrand collaborations, in the wild brand activations, earned local media,\nsampling and promotional activity. In this role you will project manage these\nactivities and initiatives from end to end. 
  • Relationship Building & Collaboration: Effectively\nbuild relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Work closely\nwith the Operating Team (Regional Manager and General Managers) to implement\nand optimize the Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM) toolkit and to flag any field\nmarketing activity that has a direct impact on restaurants or requires\nrestaurant logistical or labor support. Liaison with the Marketing Team on any\nspecific creative development/needs for the market. Develop and build\nrelationships with key community leaders, influencers and organizations that\nare aligned with Snooze’s mission and business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with local vendors, creative agencies\nand PR agencies to ensure high-quality execution of marketing activities.
  • Budget Management: Manage the local marketing budget, ensuring\ncost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Performance\nTracking: Monitor, analyze, and\nreport on the effectiveness of local marketing initiatives. Use data-driven\ninsights where applicable to optimize plans. 
  • Compliance: Ensure marketing activities comply with company policies/values,\nindustry regulations and local laws. 
  • Organization and planning: Maintain and execute local\nmarketing calendar including but not limited to: events, activations,\ncollaborations and promotions
  • Additional\nresponsibilities based on company goals/objectives/priorities.

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

\n\n \n\n

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration,\nCommunications or other relevant program preferred (or equivalent level\ncertifications)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in marketing\nwith a focus on field marketing or related roles. Restaurant or Hospitality\nindustry experience preferred (or other relevant service sector) but not required.

  • Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours\nper week.
  • The travel required for this position is\napproximately 10% and you must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (all\nmodes of transportation and weekend travel all required)
  • Home base is in Atlanta, GA (fully remote\nposition with expectations of daily in-market and restaurant presence)

The Nitty Gritty Details

Atlanta area base salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 per year

\n\n

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the\nSnooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be\nabove or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to\nexperience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of\nproduction, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range\nlisted is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for\nemployees.
