Season, Full Time Political Campaign Job
The Gabe Evans for Congress campaign is seeking motivated individuals capable and willing to canvass registered voters administer a survey and record survey response data. Surveys will be administered door-to-door and some phone calls may be required. State Representative Gabe Evans is a Colorado native, grandson of Mexican immigrants and served our country in the US Army and National Guard as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot. He completed a combat deployment to the Middle East and responded to wildfires and search and rescues throughout Colorado, before working as a Police Officer in Arvada for over 10 years. Now, Gabe is running for Colorado’s 8th Congressional District – continuing his mission to serve.Ideal applicants should possess the following traits:
• The ability to dependably maintain a set work schedule
• Good communication skills (comfortable speaking on the phone or in-person)
• Personable and able to interact with voters, volunteers and other campaign staff
• Organized, responsible and ethical
• The Field Canvassing position entails door-to-door canvassing with a political survey. The Field Canvasser will be required to utilize a smart-phone app that provides the target addresses as well as a script. The Field Canvasser will walk the voter through the short, 30 second survey and capture responses and any other relevant information.
• Training will be provided so that the Field Canvasser is comfortable conducting the short survey without reading their phone one someone's doorstep, as well as be able to deliver a light advocacy message. • While door-to-door canvassing will be the majority of the job, some light phone banking may be required (calling voters to take the survey). • Applicants will need a reliable vehicle and a smart phone in order to run the survey application.• This job would begin as soon as possible and will end on November 6th, 2024.
