Job Description

The Baton Rouge Rougarou are a summer collegiate baseball team in the Texas Collegiate League. We are looking for qualified and determined individuals to join us during 2024 for our General Internship program.

Our Fall Internship program is an extraordinary opportunity to gain hands-on experience and to learn from best-in-class talent at a first-class organization through former LSU baseball national champion, television & radio personality, Rougarou team owner, and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame President CEO, Ronnie Rantz.

Experience day to day projects and tasks in departments such as Marketing, Sales, HR, Baseball Operations, Advertising & Sales, Community Relations, Event Planning, Event Execution, and more!

Your time will not only be spent adding significant value to the organization, but you will also have the opportunity to build lasting relationships and network with local sports legends and community leaders throughout your internship. Fall interns will focus on the "behind the scenes" aspect of an athletic organization through business development, marketing, sales & sales training, and player procurement.

Aside from working with the Baton Rouge Rougarou Baseball organization, you will work directly with the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation, which will give you firsthand experience fundraising for established non-profits and working and planning athletic based events.

The program's focus is to provide insight into what the workforce is like, a taste of the sports industry, and to help guide you to a career best suited for you!

Please note: -This internship is UNPAID, with the possibility of earning commission.
-It is preferred for all applicants to be using the internship for college credit.
