Duties:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing medications, including filling prescriptions, counting and measuring medication, and labeling and packaging orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication and treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and restock shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to the pharmacy standards.
- Support patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Skills:

- Proficiency in medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and practices.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide patient service and maintain a positive attitude in a high-stress situation.
- Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
