About us

A trendy Japanese cafe in the SE area is looking for a full-time permanent Barista/ Cafe Assistant.

Responsibilities include

* engaged in serving customers, taking orders, and preparing food and handcrafted drinks.

* Manage day-to-day cafe operations, ensuring adequate stock of food and drink supplies, the premises are clean and presentable, and that customer is served in a timely fashion.

Working Hours: 18-25 hr per week

• Every other Tues 4:30 pm - 8 pm (closed)
• Wednesday 4:30 pm - 8 pm (closed) or 10:30am - 8pm (closed)
• Friday 5 pm - 9 pm (closed)
• Sat (Alternative shift): 5 pm - 9 pm (closed) and 11:30 am - 9 pm
• Sun 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15-17 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required. *English is required

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 4-hour shift
• Evening shift
• Every Weekend
• Holidays

Supplemental pay types:

• Tips (Fixed)

Experience:

• Baristar and using Manual Espresso Machine: 1 year (required)
• Bonus to know how to make latte art: 1 year
