Grades, standardized test scores, essays, recommendations, independent work, the quality of the secondary school program and achievements outside the classroom are among the factors used to evaluate this promise, but no one of these measures is considered determinative.
Responsibilities: The Admission Coordinator reports to the Manager of Systems in College Admission. This position provides admission support for all undergraduate programs. The Coordinator will ensure that daily processes, data entry, and communications have been properly maintained and in a timely manner, supporting the successful review of applications, communication to applicants, and matriculation of admitted students. The Admission Coordinator will work to support the College on maintaining their applications and supporting their work within the Admissions CRM (Technolutions Slate) and the enterprise-wide student information system (Banner).
This role demands great attention to detail, the ability to make sound decisions, and the ability to support College
Admission, applicants, students, and University staff and faculty when required.
Responsibilities include:
- Process admission files for undergraduate programs, including collecting required materials
- Maintain student records in application CRM (Slate Technolutions)
- Determine nature and status of application materials received
- Identify corrections as needed before decision mailings
- Make decisions on all routine issues concerning data entry and verification
- Monitor and reply to College Admission controlled email accounts and phone support
- Undertake other, additional admission support as needed
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent of education and experience required

- Ability to perform and manage project details under tight deadlines, including multi-tasking between projects with differing or competing timelines

- Excellent follow-through and follow-up skills
- Superior computing abilities including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps for Education and basic technology troubleshooting experience

- Ability to work effectively independently, and as a member of a team
- Experience with Technolutions (Slate), Banner, and/or other student information systems
- Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment
